Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Scout Africa, operated by PERIGON CONSULT LIMITED ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our lead-scouting and outreach platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and role when you register.

Usage information: the campaigns you create, leads you scout, email templates you generate, and billing activity associated with your account.

Payment information: transaction references and payment-proof screenshots you submit for mobile-money payments. We do not store full card numbers or mobile-money PINs.

3. How we use your information

To operate and maintain your account, process payments, enforce plan limits, and provide support.

To improve the Service, detect abuse, and comply with our legal obligations under Zambian data-protection law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Lead and business data

Scout Africa returns publicly available business contact information found on the live web. This data is associated with your campaigns and team workspace so you can manage outreach. You are responsible for ensuring any contact you make complies with applicable anti-spam and consent laws.

5. Team workspaces

If you create or join a team workspace, the campaigns, leads, and templates you create become visible to other members of that workspace. You can leave a team at any time, which removes your access to its shared data.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and campaign data for as long as your account is active. You may delete leads or your account at any time. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not function correctly.

8. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us through the Support channels in your account. If you are based in Zambia, you have rights under the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact
